Spent most of my life in Vancouver, Canada, moved to New York, USA for two years, and now I live in Amsterdam Netherlands.
As a child, my face was always buried in a book. Reading introduced and helped me developed a creative, inquisitive and imaginative mind. I asked a lot of questions and often dove into rabbit holes for months on end to find answers.
In my teenage years, I naturally gravitated towards drawing and doodling. It was an outlet for boredom. I explored and appreciated all forms of art, from make up artistry to sculptures to traditional paintings. In my exploration, I was prone to drawing comics in math class and creating sandstone animal sculptures during my breaks. But my heart always led me back to ancient history and the art created by those civilizations.
I believe that art is created through our individual and collective stories. It was a way for us to express and connect to one another. And I found that so fascinating.
Addicted to Tattoo
In beginning of 2019, I started mentorship with Tattoo Artist and friend Louise Yan. I learned all about machines, needles, depth, skin, stencilling and more. I loved every part of it! Learning and tattooing have become an obsession.
The first tattoo I ever gave was on my ankle, under Louise’ guidance. She said if I didn’t trust myself, why should someone else trust me? It was such a fair and honest question. And it was so much fun that I’ve since filled most of my left arm.
I started as a tattoo artist in the middle of 2020. I tried and practiced many different tattoo styles: Brushstroke, Color Illustrative, Anime, Minimalistic Fineline, Ornamental, Realism, and many more. This allowed me to get skillful at all the different techniques, empowering me to combine them, creating unique works of art for my clients.
In 2021, I started to focus on Fineline as a technique. I love elegance and details, and Fineline Tattoos allowed both no matter the size of the piece.
My journey has only begun! I will continue to explore the tattoo and art world in hopes to produce for you the most amazing pieces of art!
